Melt margarine in a saucepan; stir in corn syrup, brown sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Turn down heat as low as you can and boil for 5 min., without stirring. Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda. Put popcorn in very large bowl and pour mix over popcorn. Stir until well coated. Spread popcorn out on 2 greased cookie sheets. Bake at 250 for 45 to 60 min., stirring (turning) the popcorn every 15 min. Put one cookie sheet on the tip shelf and one on the third shelf. Rotate after second 15 min. Remove and cool.
