Abstract

The possibility of using the accelerator drum of the threshing device of a combine harvester for separating the stripped heap in order to extract free grain from it is considered in the article. It is indicated that a significant change in the composition and main characteristics of the incoming heap can lead to a radical change in the principle of interaction with it of the beaters of the accelerator drum.
