Abstract
This chapter presents customers' feelings about 3D and other dimension food printing technologies, specifically regarding their acceptance, challenges, and possible benefits. Attitudes about printed meals are first covered, focusing on perceived advantages, trust, and originality. Emerging real-world applications of food printing, including cultured meat, insect-based foods, and snack bars for job-specific roles, are highlighted in this chapter through case studies. Additionally, the chapter delves into how customers react to variations between 3D and 4D food printing. Further, behavioral factors such as food neophobia and tech ignorance that can impact adoption are presented.
