Comparative Analysis of Organic and Conventional Growing Systems on Physicochemical Characteristics and Nutritional Quality of Wheat

Abstract
The nutritional quality of wheat variety TD-1, which was grown under organic and conventional nutrient systems at Latif Farm, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, was studied. The wheat crop was fertilized with T1 (poultry manure), T2 (farmyard manure), T3 (urea) and T4 (untreated) as controls. According to the findings, there was a statistically significant (P<0.05) impact of the various nutrient sources on the following parameters: 1000 kernel weight, protein, ash, Zn, Fe, zeleny sedimentation value (ml), starch, and grain fat; however, there was no significant influence (P>0.05) on grain moisture and hardness. Overall results indicated that crops grown under poultry manure fertilization produced grain of the highest quality, with the exception of 1000-kernel weight, while crops
