Abstract
Triticale, thanks to its unique properties, can produce stable and high grain yields in risky farming zones, making it suitable for use in arid regions. Therefore, the introduction of new, highly productive winter triticale varieties into agricultural production in the semi-desert zone of the Northern Precaspian region is relevant and timely.
