Cereals growing and quality in the Czech Republic 2010 - 2023

Abstract

This bachelor theses deals with the cultivation and quality of food cereals for the evaluated years 2010 to 2023. Cereals are a very important source of food, the quality of which directly affects the nutritional value and technological properties of products such as bread, pasta, or malt for beer production. The quality of cereal grains is largely influenced by the weather. The aim of this theses was to collect information on the cultivation and quality of cereal grains, especially food wheat, rye, and malting barley. Another aim was to collect data on grain yields and quality in the evaluated period and to explain what influenced these values. The highest recorded fluctuations in grain yields and quality during the monitored period were observed in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and last b
