Abstract
Nanotechnology has emerged as a revolutionary innovation in food preservation, changing the way food products are stored, packaged, and protected from spoilage. While conventional techniques frequently cause nutrient loss, changed flavor, and high energy use, nanotechnology provides solutions like antimicrobial coatings and smart packaging that minimize waste and increase shelf life. Particularly helpful for preserving meat, dairy, and fruit, it lets antimicrobial medicines be developed to fight germs on food and packaging. With nanoencapsulation, the regulated release of preservatives improves efficiency by minimizing the amount. Smart packaging fitted with nanosensors notifies customers spoilage of food by tracking humidity, temperature, and other factors. Integrating digital and nanotec
