PARAMETERS OF ADAPTIVE PROPERTIES OF WINTER WHEAT BY GRAIN WEIGHT

Abstract
The purpose of the research was to evaluate the adaptive properties of domestic varieties by grain weight per plant in contrasting regional conditions. The studies were conducted in the conditions of a foothill zone with sufficient moisture, as well as in the steppe arid zone of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania. The article provides an assessment of the environmental parameters of adaptive properties of winter wheat varieties under contrasting growing conditions. In the conditions of the foothill zone, high productivity of 1.00-1.25 g of grain per plant was provided by Bagrat, Elanchik, Trio and Grom varieties. The lowest productivity of 0.90-0.96 g of grain was observed in the varieties Bezostaya, Batko, Tanya and Kingfisher. In the conditions of the steppe arid zone, the level of t
