Abstract
Food is basic requirement of each human being for their survival which becomes insufficient to meet the needs of growing population. Along with limited resources of food production, food wastage is also increasing due to improper distribution and lack of quality which results in spoilage of food. To overcome these issues, precision engineering techniques have been developed which not only ensures good-quality products but also provide spatial information and structural information of food products. Precision engineering involves the use of automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and machine learning.
