Abstract
The food sector is fast changing due to the influence of digital technology, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerging as a crucial driver of innovation. AI is changing the way food is produced, handled, and eaten, from farm to fork. AI facilitates automation, increases productivity, improves food safety, and decreases waste through the use of machine learning, computer vision, robots, and data analytics. It also enables improved decision-making and tailored customer experiences. This article investigates the uses of AI in the food sector, including its benefits, problems, and future possibilities. The incorporation of AI into food systems presents exciting potential for attaining sustainability, food security, and enhanced public health.
