Abstract
Triticale is a hybrid of wheat and rye, developed with the aim of combining the high yield and good grain quality of wheat with the adaptability and resistance of rye to unfavorable environmental conditions. Owing to its wide ecological amplitude, triticale is successfully cultivated in various agroecological regions, including those with less favorable climatic and soil conditions. The aim of this paper is to present the biological significance and the influence of the most important ecological factors (water, temperature, and light) on the growth, development, and productivity of triticale, as well as to examine their interrelationship in yield formation. The study is based on the method of analysis and synthesis of data collected from relevant scientific studies and professional literat
