Preparation of a magnetic hydroxyl hypercrosslinked polymer for sensitive determination of 116 pesticide residues in chili.

Abstract
A magnetic hydroxyl hypercrosslinked polymer (EA-MHCP) was successfully synthesized with ellagic acid of natural origin as the monomer. This material was then used as the adsorbent for the QuEChERS method. A rapid method for determining 116 pesticide residues in chilies was developed by combining with ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry. EA-MHCP efficiently removed matrix interferences and permitted magnetic solid-liquid separation, accelerating sample preparation.After optimization, the method was validated: recoveries 70.4-117.4 %, matrix effects -27.9-17.3 %. The limit of quantification (LOQ) for fresh chilies was less than 0.009 mg/kg, and the LOQ for dried chilies was less than 0.045 mg/kg. In contrast to the traditional QuEChERS method, this method is simple, economical, and efficient. It is an excellent pretreatment technique for detecting multi-pesticide residues in chilies.
