Dissolve jello in 3 cups boiling water. Cool. Use liquid of oranges and/or pineapple for 1 1/2 cups cool water. Add to jello mixture. Add sherbet, mandarin oranges and pineapple. Mix all together. Put cut-up banana on top with Cool Whip before serving. Serves 10 to 12.
